“ Had an awesome time here. Dan was so great to us. Good vibes, good food. Will return. ”
“ Fast efficient service. Delicious food in generous portions. Try this place you will be very happy you did. ”
“ Our server Erin was the shiny star of our family dine in dinner experience at Toomey's. She was a gem and provided such excellent service. From knowing to being extra napkins for our 2 and 4 year old, to the subtle promise of a special sticker if they are their dinner, and her patience with listening to our littles' stories, she is by far the best server we had our entire week in mammoth. Food was great! My husband enjoyed the fish and chips, I had the New England clam chowder + salmon Caesar, and our girls enjoyed the kids chicken nuggets. Ambiance was a casual, sports bar feel. Great for kiddos or if you are coming in from the slopes for a bite. We will be back next time! ”
“ On our last night we wanted a little night life and to eat out. Toomey's was right below us at 8050 PRC. It was filled with families and was full of life. Loud, talkative & cheerful folks eating and having a good time. The menu is broad enough to appeal to everyone's taste. It's a bit pricey but our meals were delicious. My steak salad was modestly priced and loaded with perfectly cooked juicy & savory steak. The chicken wing platter was more of a meal and those who had them seemed to devour them at a fast pace. The grilled cheese Sando and homemade soup was also wonderful. Toomey's s also has a full bar for those who wanted libations. The owner & his son came out and were a delight to get to know. Soon it will be expanded to connect to a new bar-club going in next door. RC the unofficial mayor of mammoth will be the new developer and will share in the fun and help run the joint operation. Great times. See you soon! ”
“ Probably one of the best dog friendly spots I've been too! We were able to bring our dog and sit inside instead of most places we have to sit outside - came in the winter so this helped a ton! Ordered the baked brie 4/5 great app if you want something sweet/savory. Bison meatloaf 4/5. This was super hearty, really filled me up plus extra to go home. Only downside was wish it came with more gravy. The Brussel sprouts that it came with were 5/5, not bitter at all. Our waitress was also really great! Super attentive brought our doggo a water bowl and checked up on us frequently The only con is the parking here as it's in the village so street parking is tough to find and paid parking is roughly $10 an hour. Tip: pay with cash as there's a discount ”
“ A lot of the restaurants in the Mammoth ski village only have decent reviews, oftentimes because they are overpriced or have long waits or only average tasting food. We were staying really close to the village and wanted to do dinner somewhere that was walking distance, so I was looking up all the possible options. What caught my eye with Toomey's is that they are dog-friendly, even inside the restaurant! We were so excited to bring our dog with us for dinner so he could be with us in a warm place and not have to stay at our condo alone. Our server, Kevin, was extremely friendly and personable. He even brought out a water bowl for our dog! The interior has an odd seafoam green paint job on all the walls, looks like it has been that way for forever. It's more of a sports bar vibe on the inside but the menu does not consist of matching pub style food like you'd expect; they actually have some nice dishes that are more characteristic of a formal dinner restaurant. Prices are on the higher side, but that is to be expected in a ski village. Plus you at least get large portions here which is nice. We split a bowl of the clam chowder to start, they even divided it up into two separate cups for us which was really nice. I got the ribs for my meal and my husband got the buffalo meatloaf. The ribs were covered in a blackberry BBQ sauce which was actually really good. I wish it came with a little less sauce and that the ribs were more tender, but overall I was still pleased! My husband usually doesn't care for meatloaf but was intrigued by this one being made with lean buffalo meat. He ended up really liking it! We were both satisfied with our meals, everything was good but we didn't feel like it deserved 5 stars which we usually give to places that exceed our expectations. We will probably come back again next time we are in Mammoth, largely because of how dog-friendly they are compared to several other places in the village! ”
“ TVs available! We were in town visiting and looking for a sports bar vibe where we can enjoy some football. Great option in Mammoth. We sat on the "bar end" of the restaurant. Indoor/outdoor seating available. Fish and chips were good. Pork chop was enjoyable. Carrot cake was moist. ”
“ We came to Toomey's tonight as this is one of our "go to" spots. After what seemed like four years with brussels sprouts, being the seasonal vegetable, we were thrilled to try a different one. We ordered the pork chops and the bison meatloaf, and they came with mashed potatoes, cabbage and carrots. The food came out quickly and Everything was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed our server, Anna. ”
